Amanpulo Resort, Palawan: Paradise in the Philippines

As per the activities, snorkelling and some none-motor activities are free but aside from those, all the other activities comes with a fee such as diving, cruises, and fishing. Since we weren’t really in the mood to do much activities, we ended up spending most our time indulging in food and taking leisure strolls by the beach. As an alternative, you could always view the beautiful sunrise and sunsets that I consider priceless.

Sunrise – I love how the light of the sun reflects on the sea

How could this view be not worth it?

They also have other activities on the island such as yoga, cycling, nature walks, swimming, a gym, a spa, and so much more so you’ll never really get bored even if you don’t avail of the water activities. Regarding the food, it can also be quite pricey but base on its taste, its actually very much worth it. They have several food themes such as Classic American, Italian, Vietnamese, and of course, Filipino food.

I must say that this resort may not be meant for the adventure junkies but it certainly suits well for couples or families who wants to experience how it feels like to live in paradise that is within reach. But just a reminder, if ever you are considering going to Amanpulo, be sure to book early, like a year earlier during peak season, since this resort is really in demand to a lot of foreigners. I believe they are already full booked for this December.

Some people might consider that going here is worth a king’s ransom, but I assure you, going to Amanpulo will be one of the best decisions you will ever make. Don’t count the cost, you’ll eventually earn it back. The memories will be worth every centavo. So When In Manila, and you’re wondering about what’s the best resort in the world, go to Amanpulo, Palawan.
