Amid the controversy surrounding Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica regarding their breakup, AJ Raval’s name has been dragged into the issue time and time again now that she is pursuing a romantic relationship with Aljur. It got worse in the past few days after she had shared Aljur’s accusatory post towards Kylie challenging her to “tell [people] the truth” about her cheating on him first.
Now, it seems like AJ has reached her limit with all the hate and criticism that she has gone on to wipe out her Instagram clean of posts.
This wasn’t before she took to her Tiktok account to issue an apology for having shared the post and to explain how she feels to be involved in the controversy.
“Gusto ko lang i-explain bakit ko shinare. Hindi naman sa nakikisawsaw ako sa issue nila. Shinare ko yun kasi I’m trying to protect myself and my family, also. Cause people are accusing me sa isang bagay na hindi ko naman ginawa. Tinatawag nila akong kabit. Tinatawag nila akong homewrecker, which is hindi naman totoo,” she said. “Wala akong sinirang pamilya, never akong maninira ng pamilya.”
She said that it hurts her to see her family being dragged into the issue as well. And even though she admittedly did not care about Aljur and Kylie’s controversial breakup, she had shared Aljur’s post as a result of her intense emotions.
“To be honest, wala talaga akong pakialam sa issue nila before. Narinig ko na yan, pero never ako naglabas ng kahit anong statement or what tungkol dun. Kasi wala talaga akong right na magsalita tungkol sa issue na yun. Silang dalawa lang yung pwedeng magsalita dun. And yes, shinare ko lang yun siguro dala ng emosyon kasi I’m hurting. And I’m really sorry sa lahat ng mga naapektuhan, sa mga nagalit, I’m really sorry.”
She then apologized to Kylie and explained that she was only trying to protect herself, though she realized quickly that her method of doing so was wrong.
“Kay Kylie, I’m sorry kung shinare ko yung statement na yun. It’s not my intention to hurt anybody. I was just trying to protect myself, yun nga lang mali yung way ko,” she continued.
She hoped that everyone would reach a “peace” and announced that she will undergo a “social media detox.”
“Sana matapos na to, kasi bugbog na talaga yung mental health ko. Di ko na kaya,” she said.
She assured fans that she will return next year.

AJ has been hit with accusations from the public the past month that she was the alleged third party who caused Aljur and Kylie, who have been married for over 2 years, to split up. Kylie, however, has come to her defense to say that she was not at all the one Aljur had reportedly cheated on her with during their marriage and also told assured fans that Aljur is free to date anyone at this time.
Aljur then broke his silence on October 19 evening with a Facebook post accusing Kylie of being the first to be unfaithful during their years together. He also expressed dismay at being the “victim” of the “one sided story” Kylie’s father, Robin Padilla, put out to the public when he first confirmed the couple’s separation.
At the moment, their two children, Axl Romeo and Alas Joaquin, are currently living with Kylie.
