Filipino singer-songwriter and host Abby Asistio is set to launch her latest single, “Grabe Ka Naman Saktan,” with a special live performance on March 14 at 7:00 PM at Takeover Lounge, Katipunan.
The event marks the first live showcase of the song, which explores themes of self-respect, heartbreak, and the courage to walk away from a love that no longer serves you. The performance will also highlight Abby’s signature Modern Kundiman sound—a contemporary take on classic Filipino musical storytelling that blends vintage emotion with modern arrangements.
Joining Abby on stage are guest artists Mateo and Kettle Mata, who will also perform their own songs as part of the evening’s intimate live music experience.
The track was recently included in Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds Philippines playlists, giving the song a strong early spark as it begins reaching new listeners.
Prior to this release, Abby also dropped the single “Hala Uy” in October, a playful track whose catchy hook quickly circulated online through viral clips on social media.
The event is presented by Villa Socorro Farms and Sabanana Chips, with tickets available for ₱500 at the door.
