A romantic milestone unfolded in the Philippine drag scene as Drag Race Philippines Season 3 runner-up Khianna proposed to her longtime partner and fellow drag artist, Shae Shue K, during Brigiding’s CAKE show on November 5, 2026.

The surprise proposal took place during a performance of Ashe’s song “Stop the Wedding!” at CAKE: Let Them Eat Cake, held at Teatrino Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Getting down on one knee, Khianna expressed her love for Shae before asking her to spend the rest of her life with her.
“Shae-Shae, I love you so much. I’ve been thinking about this for the seven years of our existence. I wanna share this moment with my family. Shae-Shae, will you marry me?” Khianna said.

Following the proposal, Shae shared the happy news through an Instagram story, showing off her engagement ring and capturing a sweet moment with her now-fiancée.
“Got engaged to @khiannawithak 🥹 I love you so much ❤️ #ShaestheOneforKhi,” Shae captioned the post.
In a subsequent Instagram post, Shae opened up about the emotional surprise, admitting that she initially thought the proposal was simply part of the performance.

“Akala ko sa movie o teleserye lang to nangyayare, sa totoong buhay din pala. Akala ko part lang ng performance, totohanan na pala. At akala ko hanggang sana all lang kami 🥹 But this time, finally engaged na kami at may forever sa aming dalawa 💍❤️,” she wrote.
Shae also expressed her excitement about spending the rest of her life with Khianna.

The engagement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow drag performers.
Zymba Ding, Khianna’s fellow Drag Race Philippines Season 3 sister and a member of Brigiding’s drag family, also celebrated the milestone through an Instagram Story.
“So happy I witnessed that irl. From lovers to fiancées! So happy for you two! Congratulationsss plsss,” she wrote.

Khianna and Shae Shue K have been familiar faces in Cagayan de Oro’s drag scene for years, with their relationship and shared passion for the art form intertwined throughout their journeys as performers.
In a 2024 interview, Shae shared that Khianna introduced her to drag, taught her how to do makeup, and inspired her to pursue the art form herself.
