Japanese Eyewear Brand Releases Limited-Edition Cases Where 100% of Proceeds Will Go to Environmental NGOs in the Philippines

Global eyewear OWNDAYS continues to turn its commitment to environmental advocacy into meaningful action, finding creative ways to raise awareness and encourage people to play a part in protecting the world we live in.

This 2026, OWNDAYS continues to bring this commitment to life through its biennial environmental campaign, Cases for Change, which transforms the humble eyewear case into a canvas for creativity and a vehicle for positive change. Each year, the campaign brings together artists and causes to create specially designed cases that not only complement its collection of eyewear, but also help support organizations and initiatives dedicated to environmental protection.

For this year’s cases, OWNDAYS Philippines has collaborated with local artist Dani, also known as @danijiiro on Instagram, to create three limited-edition eyeglass cases. Each design reflects a distinct creative interpretation while supporting organizations working to protect three essential elements of our environment: the air we breathe, the land we live on, and the sea that sustains us.

Aside from Dani, OWNDAYS has also partnered with three environmental organizations whose work focuses on protecting the air, land, and sea. Their involvement gives each case a deeper purpose, connecting Dani’s creative interpretations with real-world environmental initiatives.

These partners are Clean Air Asia, an organization working to improve air quality and promote healthier, more sustainable communities; Masungi Georeserve, a conservation area dedicated to protecting forests, wildlife, and natural landscapes; and Save Philippine Seas, a non-profit organization focused on marine conservation and empowering communities to protect the country’s seas.

Each case serves a greater purpose, with proceeds supporting initiatives that create meaningful environmental and community impact. Clean Air Asia’s Bike-to-School Project promotes safer, cleaner, and more sustainable mobility for students in Quezon City; Masungi Georeserve’s Power-a-Station Program brings solar-powered energy to ranger stations, strengthening forest protection and monitoring; while Save Philippine Seas’ Pating Patrol workshops empower local communities with the knowledge and tools needed to protect sharks and preserve marine ecosystems.

The designs bring together creative expression and environmental advocacy, giving an everyday eyewear accessory a greater purpose. More than functional cases, the collection provides customers with a simple way to support initiatives that contribute to cleaner communities, protected forests, and healthier marine ecosystems.

The Cases for Change 2026 limited-edition eyeglass cases are available at ₱500 for a standalone purchase. Customers who purchase complete prescription eyewear (frame and lenses), sunglasses, or avail of the lens replacement service may purchase a case at the special price of ₱250.

One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds from the limited-edition cases will be donated to OWNDAYS Philippines’ partner organizations, directly supporting their respective environmental programs.

With the continuation of Cases for Change 2026, OWNDAYS Philippines continues to show how thoughtful design can create meaningful impact—one case at a time, for our air, land, and sea.
