Good news! “Heathers the Musical” is finally making its much-awaited Manila debut.

Following record-breaking and sold-out runs in London, New York, and Melbourne, GMG Productions announced that the West End production of “Heathers the Musical” will grace the Manila stage for only a limited time, starting from January 21 to February 7, at The Theatre at Solaire.
For this upcoming musical, Gerardine Sacdalan will play the role of Veronica Sawyer. Gerardine is well-known for her roles as Sandra Beaumont in “Made in Dagenham” in Concert at The London Palladium and as Frenchie in “Grease: The Immersive Musical” at Battersea Park.
The Filipino performer also earned a nomination for Best Professional Debut at the 10th Anniversary of the WhatsonStage Awards for her role of Juliet in the UK tour of “&Juliet.”

She will also join Louis Hearsey as Jason “J.D.” Dean, Liberty Stottor as Heather Chandler, Jessica Ibadin as Heather Duke, and Lou Henry as Heather McNamara.
“Heathers: The Musical” is based on the iconic 1989 film top-billed by Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. The story follows a high school student named Veronica Sawyer, the only girl in their clique who is not named “Heather.” Then, she falls in love with the mysterious and rebellious teen named J.D.
