Good news for A’TIN and everyone out there: SB19 is set to make history as the first-ever Filipino group to throw the ceremonial first pitch in a Major League Baseball (MLB) game.

In an announcement cross-posted across their official social media platforms, SB19 will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game set for July 29 at Rate Field in Chicago, USA.

Following this announcement, fans expressed their support and enthusiasm over the group’s upcoming activities.
“Wow! First pitch [at] White Sox? Who’s good at throwing the ball? See you at the Grammy museum and @lollapalooza!” one fan wrote.
Another fan commented: “MY MLB AND ESBI WORLDS ARE FINALLY COLLIDING!!”
Other Filipino personalities who had made the first pitch in an MLB game include boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, actress Liza Soberano, and comedian Jo Koy, among others.
Their MLB appearance marks just one of the many activities the powerhouse P-pop group has lined up for July and August.
