Candid Club Hosts Spring Clean Stuff Swap for a Refreshing Social Experience

Candid Club will host its Spring Clean Stuff Swap on April 11, Saturday, at The Teahouse in Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Center, bringing together women for a curated exchange event built around two things many people are looking for right now: a way to refresh what they own and a way to meet new people without forcing it.

The concept is straightforward. Guests bring 5 to 10 items they no longer use and exchange them for something new to them. Each accepted item is converted into a token, which can be used to select pieces from the swap tables. Categories include clothes, shoes, bags, books, accessories, and small lifestyle items.

Rather than a typical resale or donation setup, Stuff Swap focuses on direct exchange. Items move from one person to another, giving them a second life while keeping the experience social and interactive. It also removes the pressure to spend. Attendees leave with pieces that feel new to them without buying anything new.

The event is designed to feel easy to join, even for those coming alone. Candid Club positions Stuff Swap as a low-pressure way to meet people as an adult, where conversation happens naturally around a shared activity instead of forced introductions.

Items go through a quick check at registration and are sorted into organized tables by category. This keeps the experience structured and easy to navigate while maintaining a level of quality across all items available in the swap.

Alongside the exchange, guests will have access to a jewelry-making station where they can create charm bracelets, phone charms, and journal clips using shared materials. This is included in the event fee and gives attendees something they can make and take home on the day.

Additional touchpoints are placed around the space to encourage interaction, including affirmation pulls, mirror notes, and casual seating areas for conversation. These are designed to support the social aspect of the event without requiring participation.

Each attendee will receive an iced coffee as part of their registration, along with curated gifts from partner brands. This edition of Stuff Swap is supported by Gluta-C, Urban Care, and Revox, who will be providing product giveaways for guests. Select partners will also be present on-site with small activations and product experiences.

Candid Club has built its community through small, intentional gatherings, and Stuff Swap continues that format with a focus on practicality and connection. It offers a clear use case for attendees: you leave with items you will actually use, and you spend a few hours in a setting that makes it easier to meet people.
