Good news! Jessica Sanchez has now advanced to the finale of “America’s Got Talent” (AGT) Season 2.

On September 18 (Manila time), AGT announced this edition’s finalists, including Jessica.

“She came back stronger than ever! Jessica Sanchez is moving on after a powerhouse semifinal performance! #AGT #AGTsemifinals,” AGT wrote.
Aside from the Filipino-American actress, the finalists also include freestyle rapper Chris Turner, Brazilian dance group LightWire, duo Sirca Marea, Jourdan Blue, and Leo High School Choir.
The highly anticipated finale will take place on September 23 (US time). After the public voting, the announcement of the winner will be on September 24 (US time).
For the semi-finals, the 30-year-old singer made a phenomenal vocal performance when she sang JVKE’s “Golden Hour.”

She is fulfilling her dreams as a singer and is now in her ninth month of pregnancy.
In July 2025, the American Idol alum made waves on social media when she returned as a contestant for the popular talent show. She earned her well-deserved Golden Buzzer and a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Mel B, and Howie Mandel after singing “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone.
Jessica Sanchez finished as a runner-up behind Phillip Philipps on the eleventh season of American Idol.
