Erwan Heussaff highlights the beauty and richness of Filipino cuisine in the Manila episode of “Somebody Feed Phil,” which premiered on June 18.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Erwan revealed that he was invited to be part of the show when Phil Rosenthal went to Manila last year.

“The cat [is] out of the bag!” he wrote. “I was invited to take part in Somebody Feed Phil when they came to Manila last year. I was so nervous, but Phil’s genuine passion and interest put me at ease immediately.”
“To be given this platform to talk about Filipino Food and our love for it, is such a privilege,” he added.
In case you missed it, Erwan Heussaff is an award-winning food content creator who founded the popular food channel “FEATR.” The channel showcases in-depth features on Filipino cuisine across various cities and provinces in the Philippines, along with cooking videos, food challenges, and more.
With this, the 38-year-old online personality shared that he is looking forward to American producer in the future.
“I hope we made all of you proud! @Phil.rosenthal I hope to bump into you again soon! Amazing job with the new season,” he concluded his post.
On May 22, the 65-year-old producer announced that the eighth season of the popular American travel documentary series will spotlight Manila’s rich culinary scene. The eighth season also featured different cities, including Amsterdam, Boston, and Las Vegas.
“Somebody Feed Phil” follows Phil Rosenthal as he explores and tries the local cuisine of each featured city. In the past seven seasons, he featured multiple cities such as Bangkok, Seoul, Kyoto, and Taipei, among others.
