Demi Lovato is now engaged to musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes! She shared the exciting news on Monday, December 18, on Instagram. The “Heart Attack” singer posted photos from the proposal, showing off her engagement ring.
“I’m still speechless. Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic,” she wrote.
Lovato expressed her excitement about marrying Lutes, “My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby.”

Meanwhile, Lutes also posted the same photos on his Instagram with the caption, “Yesterday, I asked my best friend to marry me and she said yes. I can’t imagine my life without you and thank God now I’ll never have to. Feeling like the luckiest man alive right now. I’m so in love with you @ddlovato.”

He co-wrote Lovato’s songs, including “Substance, “Happy Ending,” and “City of Angels.”
Lovato was previously engaged to actor-singer Max Ehrich in 2020. She came out as non-binary in 2021 and announced she’ll use they/them pronouns. In 2022, she returned to using she/her pronouns again because she has been “feeling more feminine.”
