Squid Game viewers have pointed out the resemblance of Seong Gi-hun to Slater Young. The main character of the series is played by Lee Jung-Jae, a South Korean actor and model. “The Squid Game has been crazy popular on Netflix and I keep on getting tagged on Instagram that I look like the lead actor,” the former PBB star wrote on YouTube.
Aside from the resemblance, he won the reality TV show like how Gi-hun won the Squid Game. “I thought It would be fun to change things up a bit and give my hacks and reaction to the series!” Young is also an engineer who creates DIY, home, and home design content.
After finally binge-watching with his wife Kryz Uy, the Cebuano actor-entrepreneur could not help but compare his experiences on Pinoy Big Brother. “It’s like PBB. Nung nanalo ako ng PBB, parang ‘eto ‘yung feeling. ‘Yung [kapag may] task kami sa PBB, ‘eto rin ‘yung feeling. So, ang dami kong parallels na na-draw,” he said.
