Carlo Aquino Shares the Meaning Behind Baby’s Name, Enola Mithi

Carlo Aquino surprised friends and fans last weekend when he announced the birth of his new baby with girlfriend Trina Candaza, whom they had named Enola Mithi.

Since then, many have wondered about where the name had come from. In an interview with Darla Sauler’s online talk show on Tuesday, September 15, the 35-year-old actor shared what their daughter’s unique name actually means.

Apparently “Enola” is actually the word “alone” spelled backward, which was an idea that came from Trina. “We want her to grow up very adventurous, independent,” Carlo explained.

Meanwhile, “Mithi” came from the name of the love interest of Carlo’s character in the television series Pahina that aired almost 20 years ago.

Aww! So cute!

Carlo also opened up about fatherhood and how much he looks forward to spending the rest of his days with his family. “Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na hindi na ‘yung sarili mo ‘yung priority kung ‘di ‘yung mag-ina mo na, ‘yung family mo. Ang sarap na nagtatrabaho ka para sa kanila,” he said.

[“It feels so great that you no longer prioritize just yourself but also your family. It makes me happy to work hard for their sake.”]
