Victim of domestic abuse? You can seek help from this hotline

As people are confined in their homes because of the quarantine, some may have no escape to the reality of domestic abuse. Thus, the office of Senator Risa Hontiveros launches Lunas Collective, a domestic abuse helpline in the time of COVID-19.

Lunas Collective is a volunteer-based service that provides support services for survivors of gender-based violence or violence against women. They also cater to people who may have concerns about family planning. They are here to help and reach out to people who are experiencing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, and/or financial violence or harassment.

To contact them, you can click “message” on their Facebook page (facebook.com/LunasCollective). A list of questions will appear, and you can choose the most appropriate question for your situation. After, please stay on the line until an available responder attends to you. Lunas Collective has available responders on Mondays to Saturdays from 1-4 PM.
