Filipina CEO awarded with prestigious award in the US

In the 2019 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards held in California, Filipina CEO of InvestED, Carmina Bayombong, was recognized as one of the seven South Asia and Oceania laureates. The ceremony was given last May 3, 2019, at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture.

Carmina, the investED co-founder, was recognized for her student loans business that gives underprivileged students the chance to finish a degree through an investment platform wherein it uses a proprietary credit rating algorithm.

The award comes with a cash prize to empower aspiring and influential women entrepreneurs around the world like Carmina when it comes to resolving current societal hurdles. With that, she mentioned that the prize money will help thousands of students in our country who want to fulfill their dreams of accomplishing college.
