Last August 17 was truly a blast at the SM MOA Arena all thanks to IN THE MIX 2017! MMI Live, together with PLDT and SMART, showcased six great acts—DNCE, Daya, Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson, Two Door Cinema Club, and 5 Seconds of Summer. It was an unforgettable night for all the fans who danced and sang along! Though it has only been days since that spectacular night, I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling the PCD or Post Concert Depression here. #sepanx
In the Mix 2017: One Huge Party with DNCE, Two Door Cinema Club, 5SOS, and More
So if you’re feeling a bit down from PCD, hopefully these tracks can relive the fun that night!
What I Like About You – 5 Seconds of Summer
5SOS’s cover of the Romantic’s 1980’s smash hit What I Like About You is a great way to kick off the list. That iconic guitar riff and sudden drum beat? Yaaasss. It makes me feel a lot younger because of all that energy.
Body Moves – DNCE
Everyone showed their moves at the arena when DNCE played this! I’m not quite a dancer but I just found my “Body Moves” to the song when it played!
Undercover Martyn – Two Door Cinema Club
An oldie but truly a goodie. You’ll always have to do the clap at the beginning of the song.
Dare – Daya
Dare is a moving song by the 18-year-old American singer. The Sit Still, Look Pretty hitmaker expressed her love to her Filipino fans in between sets and that’s why we are daring so high to be with her on stage!
Blow Your Mind – Dua Lipa
To be honest, it’s my first encounter with Dua Lipa in any sort so I was pretty looking forward to her performance. And clearly she did not disappoint! She definitely left an impression.
New Rules – Dua Lipa
Keeping up with the #kween momentum, here’s another Dua Lipa track, cos she’s just so good.
What You Know – Two Door Cinema Club
An indie classic for the seasoned fans. It’s that song every TDCC avid fans long to hear in their setlist.
Disconnected – 5 Seconds of Summer
For me, Disconnected is one of the underrated tracks of 5SOS. An ode to how people get so distracted easily with the fast-paced technology, it sends out a message that people should just enjoy the moment as is. Shoutout to the people who enjoyed the show without recording the whole set or taking pics all the time. You the real MVP!
Symphony – Â Zara Larsson
Along with the whimsical melodies of Clean Bandit, MOA Arena became part of Zara’s symphony. And we hope that we could be part of that again!
Don’t Let Me Down – Daya
Remember that time when Don’t Let Me Down was the go-to party song of almost everyone? Well I do and when Daya sang it, it was the perfect time to dance to it!
Lush Life – Zara Larsson
An ultimate mood booster for y’all! We can sing and dance to this, all night, all summer!
Cake by the Ocean – DNCE
I’d really like to end the playlist with this 2015 hit. It is the perfect set-ender and who can forget that moment when Joe Jonas was dancing and waving the Philippine Flag while confetti was showering all over the crowd?

Well, it’s only a short list but for me, it should get the job done! Along with that, I can’t wait for the third installment of In the Mix. With such tough acts to follow, I just wonder who’ll be the line-up for next year’s show.
What do you think about the list? Tell us what’s in your In The Mix playlist!
