4th Impact Eliminated From X Factor UK

Itโ€™s the end of the journey for Filipino group 4th Impact, as  they are the ninth contestant to be eliminated from X Factor UK.โ€™

During the results of this weekโ€™s show, the group was placed at the bottom two with contestant Lauren Murray. This was due in part to low public votes.

The group sang the Dreamgirls song โ€œAnd I Am Telling You Iโ€™m Not Going.โ€

Judges praised the all-girl group for their performance, but Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw chose to send 4th Impact home, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell chose Murray for elimination. Because of this โ€œdead lock,โ€ the decision would rely on who got the fewer number of public votes.

When they were eliminated, one of the sisters said, โ€œWe just want to thank the British public. The fact that weโ€™re on this stage, this is already a prize for us. Even if we are Filipinos, you guys accepted us and welcomed us in your hearts. Thatโ€™s unforgettable. Thank you so much.โ€

Their mentor, Fernandez-Versini said, โ€œIโ€™m sad but Iโ€™m happy that they went out on this weekend of all weekends because for me, last night, they were phenomenal. They sang for the first time a ballad last night.

But tonight, the passion in their performance, the hunger to stay was so apparent.โ€

After the show, Celina, one of the sisters, collapsed, but was quickly assisted by paramedics and is recovering.
