Brows on fleek, woke up like this or lit af- these are the things I’d like to say when I have my brows all made up.
Just a bit of warning, this article is filled with photos of my face. lol.
I’ve always been insecure about my brows, I have a scar on my left brow from an accident when I was a kid and hair didn’t grow back. When I learned how to fix my brows, I always filled it up with brow liner and when I was a kid I filled it up using a gel pen (i knowww). I wanted my brows to look normal because people always teased me about being a part of a gang because of the scar.
Now I’m 27, and after months of contemplating I am finally getting 3D Eyebrow Embroidery from Eyebrowdery in Greenhills. I researched a bit and asked my friends who got the same treatment, I heard wonderful things about it and it only depends on where you will be getting the treatment done.

So here are my brows before the treatment. They removed any make-up so they can start shaping my brows.
My brows are pretty thick and pointy, they’ve always been the reason why people think i’m “mataray”. So I asked them if they can make it a little more straight and if they can fill in the scar that I have.
What I loved most about them is that they measure each and every aspect of your face and brows to make sure that they are equally placed and has the perfect shape for your face.
So after shaping, this is how my face looks like. The outlines are just the guide when they fill in the inside. It is the draft on as to what the shape will be. As you can see, there are still markings along my forehead and the sides of my brows, those are the marks when they measured the length, width, and shape.
Contrary to popular belief, eyebrow embroidery isn’t bloody. They put numbing cream on your brow area before they start the treatment. The feeling is like they are drawing with a pencil and nothing more. If you feel any discomfort, you just have to tell them so they can easily apply more numbing cream.
After an hour, the treatment is finished and they added a bit of tint to set the colors.
This is how my brows look like right after the treatment. They look a little red and shockingly dark but it’ll fade after a few days. I love the shape and I actually don’t mind if they are that dark even after a few days. lol
So here’s the final product! 3D Eyebrow Embroidery and Keratin Lash Lift!
I love the two treatments, it will definitely lessen the time I spend on make-up since I can just put on some cheek and lip tint and I’m done. The effect of the 3D Eyebrow Embroidery will be for 3-5 years and will only need a bit of touch up when you notice that it starts to fade already. The Keratin Lash Lift, on the other hand, will last for up to 3 months depending on how you take care of it. I highly recommend these two for all the girls on the go.
What most people don’t talk about is the aftercare. For the brows, you can’t let shampoo get to it because it’ll wash away the colors while it’s healing. I was my hair and my face separately in the shower. You have to wash your brows with a gentle face wash like Cetaphil. I did that for at least 10 days to make sure that I get the perfect result. I think the result varies depending on post-care as well. On the 7th day, my brows started to peel- which is completely normal. Make sure you don’t pick them or pull the skin that’s peeling, it can take away the ink. Let it peel naturally. It’ll feel or look like it has patches but it’s normal when healing. At around your 10th day, it’ll look more natural and with an effect like you filled it in.
Here are some photos 2 weeks after I had my brows done. I didn’t fill them in, it’s only the effect of the 3D Eyebrow Embroidery. It looks more natural and healthy!
They are surely on fleek!
As you can see, I haven’t cleaned up the hair around my brows yet. I just want to make sure that they are all healed properly before I go back to grooming them. You can also see that my lashes are still so pretty! Whenever I go attend events, I only have to put on some lip and cheek tint then I’m good.
