Chance The Rapper’s Win Is A Grammy Game Changer

Chance the Rapper just made history at the Grammys.

The 23-year-old rapper bagged three wins at the prestigious music awards event, notably Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Performance, making him the first unsigned artist ever to win the Best New Artist award.

Chance’s historic win at the Grammys was made possible after the Academy relaxed their rules last year, allowing artists with albums only available on streaming services like Spotify to be nominated.

Chance won over Anderson .Paak, the Chainsmokers, Maren Morris, and Kelsea Ballerini.
