2025 MMFF Entries Revealed—Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has unveiled its second batch of entries, finally completing this year’s impressive lineup of Filipino films.

This year’s MMFF is celebrating its 51st year with the theme “A New Era for Philippine Cinema.” The highly anticipated film festival will open on December 25.

Here is the second batch of films that will complete this year’s MMFF lineup:

  • “I’mPerfect” (directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo) stars veteran actors Joey Marquez, Lorna Tolentino, Tonton Gutierrez, and Sylvia Sanchez, as well as Krystel Go and Earl Amaba.
  • “Love You So Bad” (directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar) stars “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” alums Bianca de Vera, Will Ashley, and Dustin Yu. The film is a collaboration project between ABS-CBN Films and GMA Pictures.
  • “UnMarry” (directed by Jeffrey Jeturian) stars Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
  • “Bar Boys: After School” (directed by Kip Oebanda) is the much-anticipated sequel to “Bar Boys,” which stars Carlo Aquino, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Kean Cipriano, and Odette Khan.

Meanwhile, here are the first batch of film entries that were announced in July:

  • “Call Me Mother” (directed by Jun Robles Lana) stars Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre
  • “Rekonek” (directed by Jade Castro) stars Gerald Anderson, Gloria Diaz, Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, and Alexa Miro.
  • “Manila’s Finest” (directed by Rae Red) stars Piolo Pascual
  • “Shake, Rattle and Roll: Evil Origins” (directed by Shugo Praico, Joey de Guzman, and Ian Lorenos) stars Carla Abellana, Elijah Alejo, Loisa Andalio, Ivana Alawi, Ryan Bang, Janice de Belen, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Kaila Estrada, Richard Gutierrez, JM Ibarra, Ashley Ortega, Ysabel Ortega, Manilyn Reynes, Fyang Smith, and Dustin Yu.

The MMFF 51st Parade of Stars will take place on December 19, while the Gabi ng Parangal will be on December 27.
