UP Fair’s Kontrakultura 3: Born For Love
YengConstantino will be your sweetest surprise this February 14 as she spends Valentines at the biggest concert night in the annual UP Fair, Sunken Garden, UP Diliman.
Dubbed as “Kontrakultura 3: Born For Love”, around 11,000 people are expected to gather for this love night festivity featuring full concert performances from Yeng, Quest, Never The Strangers, Freestyle, and Sabado Boys – Paolo Santos, Jimmy Bondoc, Luke Mejares, and DJ Myke.
UP Students of Destiny (UP SOD) bags another UP Fair night for the third year in a row, making history as the first Christian organization in the campus to hit such a feat.
“We’d like to set a high standard for everyone’s UP Fair concert experience, that’s the reason behind the tag Kontrakultura,” shared YobOnrubia, UP SOD president.
For the past years, the organization has deviated from the usual UP Fair rock flavor and has catered to a wider scope of audience.
“More than staging an event, Kontrakultura is about countering the norms and sending messages of love, faith, and destiny – with us eyeing to bring touched and changed lives,” emphasized Onrubia.
In 2012, UP SOD brought Gary Valenciano at their UP Fair night and the artist credited his stint as a time that he “shall never forget.”
Crossworld, Doulos Band,Audiocity, Destiny Dance Rage and other guests are also to perform for the said event.
