From Singaporean to Italian cuisine, fine dining havens to hangout spots, Marikina is recently becoming known for its wide array of restaurants. Not to mention the still-growing number of commercial buildings being built here and there to house even more eateries. Amidst the busy streets of the city, we discovered a hidden gem in Brgy. San Roque.
Spinners Burger is a burger joint run by couple Jet and Lloyd Rosales. One thing I loved about their tandem is that Lloyd, a CCA graduate, is the chef himself; and Jet, on the other hand, waits tables. Talk about teamwork!
The best part? They don’t only serve burgers; from pasta, to fries, to sandwiches and other quick bites, name it! And with their nothing-but-humble business, they didn’t only satisfy our appetite, but they also knocked on our hearts and made sure that we’ll be coming back for more!
Spinners Burger was built within the walls of their own home. It was a garage turned heaven ~ I mean burger joint!
The first time we gave this place a visit, we ordered their most-loved Chili Taco Sticks (Php45 for 4pcs). It looked like our usual “Dynamite,” but what makes this one different is its twist. It’s like a fusion of dynamite and tacos! I must say, this is the perfect appetizer.

I complemented the Chili Taco Sticks with a staple food of mine: Pesto Pomodoro (Php130)!
Every time I eat in a newly discovered chain, I canvass two dishes, Beef Tapa or Pesto Pasta. And since they have the latter in the menu, there’s no way I wasn’t going to try that out. This also had a twist, at least for me. It’s the first time I encountered Pesto WITH TOMATO SAUCE… *drumroll* and it was surprisingly goooood! I can seriously taste it in my mouth while I’m typing this.
And of course, they also have the classics. Some all-time favorites!

Can I just say? These are the BEST. BUFFALO WINGS. I’VE. EVER. TASTED.

Let me quickly share something. After we dined here the first time, we came back the following day, and the next, and the next. I’m not kidding, we had dinner in Spinners for four consecutive nights! Also, there’s nothing more fulfilling than a satisfied tummy with a happy pocket. Everything’s just so affordable (and mouth-watering)!
If this doesn’t make you want to satisfy your cravings immediately, I don’t know what will. By the way, they have Pizza Burger, too! 🙂
