Although, traffic is inevitable in the Philippines, especially during the yuletide season, people still prefer to use their cars for added convenience. However, being stuck in the traffic means, youโre using a LOT of petrol! Well, good news as oil companies announced price rollback in diesel and gas effective Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
According to an article published by Manila Times, oil companies namely Shell Philippines, Seaoil, PTT Philippines, and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, mentioned that diesel prices will drop P1.45 per liter and gasoline- 60 centavos per liter.
It was also indicated in the article that other oil firms will cut kerosene prices by P1.45 per liter.
Just last week, the said oil companies also had a 50-centavo rollback on diesel and 70-centavo per liter on kerosene.
Furthermore, the adjustments mentioned will be effective 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
Evidently, the rollback is caused by the continued decrease in prices of petroleum products in the world market.
