Miss World has prided itself in championing Beauty with a Purpose, encouraging its contestants from all over the world to take on advocacies close to their hearts.
And now, Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann’s advocacy video has landed the semifinals of Miss World’s Beauty with a Purpose segment, as announced by Laura herself on her Instagram page!
Laura’s project, a milk bank for the maternity ward of Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, is among the top 20 semi-finalists to win the Beauty with a Purpose segment. The segment features charity projects advocated by the contestants, and helps raise funds for these beneficiaries. The winner of this segment will also advance to Miss World’s semi finals.
