Your Guide to the Ultimate Eastwood Citywalk 2 Foodtrip! 12 Restaurants to Satisfy all Types of Cravings!

Dinner + Drinks

Big D's (3)

Big D’s Smokehouse

Located at the heart of Eastwood City Walk 2, Big D’s Smokehouse is a South American-inspired restaurant that serves some of the juiciest soft-boned ribs I ever had. The slab of classic Southern-style BBQ meat is dry rubbed, basted, and smoked to perfection. The tender meat is something you would not want to share with others, but the big portions will definitely make a lot of tummies happy.

Aside from the ribs, Big D’s is also known for its ginormous taco. The corn shell is filled with overflowing with meat, onions, tomatoes, shredded greens, and cheese.

The Chicken Fried Steak is not to be missed on their menu. The juicy chicken fillet is tender and tasty, topped with a rich and creamy sauce.

Dencio’s

Dencio’s Inihaw na Buntot ng Tuna, Pakbet, Crispy Sisig, Sizzling Tuna Gambas, and Sisig Nachos. What a food trip!

We know for a fact that Dencio’s is THE original tambayan sa Eastwood – and for a good reason! We definitely think that they’ve perfected their ultra-crispy sisig which has become a staple of every great drinking session, but aside from that, their selection of yummy and affordable entrées make the perfect pair to an ice cold bottle of local beer.

Gerry’s Grill Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Palabok and Sisig

Gerry’s Grill

I personally love Gerry’s Grill for their delicious takes on Filipino staples and their hefty servings! This restaurant simply understands the Pinoy’s palate and appetite – their versions of Crispy Pata and Kare-Kare are unarguably one of the best. It’s homely vibe and hard-to-beat discounted cocktails and happy hour deals easily make this place a go-to spot for transitioning from dinner to drinks with friends.

Tokyo Bubble Tea

Just when I thought Tokyo Bubble Tea only serves milk tea, I was wrong. They have a good selection of food that we were able to give a taste. When we visited, we were able to try three dishes — the Korean Bibimbap, Nippon Ebi, and Chicken Teriyaki Doria.

Tokyo Bubble Tea (3)

The Korean Bibimbap is saucy and tasty. It is packed with flavor that you cannot just stop devouring it until you’re done with the entire bowl.

Tokyo Bubble Tea (1)

The Nippon Ebi is pretty on the eyes and pretty tasty as well. The creamy sauce complements the shrimp filling of the maki. A side of soy sauce and wasabi is also made available for those who want to eat it the traditional way.

Tokyo Bubble Tea (2)

The super rich Chicken Teriyaki Doria is generous serving of boneless chicken that is made even better by the special cheese that comes with it. It is topped on a super generous serving of rice.

Straight Up Pig-Out!

Zark’s Burgers’ Tombstone Burger

Guys… Zark’s has a BACON-WRAPPED burger :O

Zark’s

Easily one of the fastest-growing local restaurants to watch out for, Zark’s has made a name for itself when it comes to specialty burgers. With big and juicy burger patties cooked fresh for every order and the most insane creations on the menu (their Tombstone Burger consists of FOUR quarter-pound burgers stacked on top of each other in between layers of cheese), this restaurant should definitely be on your list if you plan on going all-out with your food trip.

And walk out happy we did!

Army Navy

Here’s another classic favorite when it comes to food trips. You know you just can’t go wrong with Army Navy’s signature offering of burgers and burritos. Every item on their menu is easy on the pocket, guaranteed to get you full, and taste great! It’s a win-win situation for every meal! We can’t get enough of their freedom fries, and keep coming back for their steak burrito.

Something New to Try

Hot Star Chicken’s BBQ Large Fried Chicken

Hot Star’s Crispy Large Fried Chicken, Original Large Fried Chicken, and BBQ Large Fried Chicken

Hot Star Chicken

This Taiwanese import’s extra huge chicken servings have definitely taken the city by storm, and have become one of the hottest must-try restaurants recently. We’ve discovered their chicken to be larger than the average Pinoy face, fairly priced at only PHP 110 to PHP 120 a pop, and worth shelling out for it you’ve got a big appetite! Hot Star’s BBQ and Original Large Fried Chicken were easy favorites, and we recommend layering on the gravy thick with your rice!

Mazza’s yummy Beef Kebab Meal

Sizzling Chicken Shawarma (they say it’s for sharing, but I could easily finish a plate :P)

Mazza Shawarma

For foodies that are up for trying something new but don’t want to burn a hole in their wallet, there’s Mazza Shawarma at Eastwood Citywalk 2. From classic shawarmas and savory kebabs to more creative dishes like their shawarma pizza, adventurous appetites will never go wrong with Mazza. We recommend starting off with their beef shawarma if it’s your first foray into Middle Eastern cuisine.
