We’re calling it: Yassi is definitely the hugot queen of Pinoy rom-coms!
Just after she’s made us cry and sympathize with her anguish in Camp Sawi, Yassi is once again bringing out that all-too familiar feeling as she plays an unlucky girl in love in the movie “Ang Pambansang Third Wheel” with Sam Milby as her leading man!
Yassi’s character is an unlucky girl when it comes to love; she’s been hurt by three men as she always ends up being the “third wheel” in the relationship, which leads to her being so guarded with men.
That all changes when she meets Neo (Sam Milby), an impossibly gorgeous and sincere man who manages to break down her walls. All seems perfect, until she learns that Neo has a son from a previous relationship. Soon, Yassi’s character finds herself the “third wheel” again — just not in the way she expected.
Ang Pambansang Third Wheel is directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, and stars Al Tantay, Sam Pinto, Niño Muhlach, and other Viva talents. The film’s release date has yet to be announced.
