Early Wednesday, June 23, the “Init sa Magdamag” star surprised her 2.1 million followers on Instagram when she revealed that her longtime boyfriend, Miguel, had already proposed to her during a trip to Niseko, Japan last December 2018. “A thousand cranes YES,” she wrote on the caption before clarifying that the beautiful proposal happened on New Year’s Eve.
The two were photographed amid a snowy landscape with numerous paper cranes hanging on strings in the background.

Currently, Yam is staying with Miguel in New York while she is on break from work. They have been together for six years now.
