Japanese girl group XG is bringing its first-ever world tour, “The First HOWL,” to Manila! The septet recently announced details for its upcoming tour, which kicked off in Osaka, Japan, on May 18 and 19.
Promoted by AEG Presents Asia and Ovation Productions, XG’s Manila concert is happening on August 2, 2024, at Smart Araneta Coliseum.Â

Fan club pre-sale begins on May 24 at 12 noon, while general on-sale will take place on May 25 at 12 noon via TicketNet outlets and ticketnet.com.ph.
Aside from Manila, XG will also hold a concert in Yokohama, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and more. There will also be stops in Greater China, North America, Australia, South America, Europe, and more countries to be announced.
XG is a seven-member hip-hop/R&B-inspired girl group consisting of JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. They debuted in March 2022 with their first single, “Tippy Toes,” since then, they have performed on numerous international stages and media outlets in countries including the United States, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Malaysia and China.Â
They were the first Japanese artists to have charted first place on the U.S. Billboard chart “Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter” and the first Japanese girl group to grace the cover of U.S. Billboard magazine.Â
