Are you ready for your next summer adventure? Explore, enjoy, and embrace a different kind of summer experience with the World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific (WYAAP) Summer Camp Program! Now on its 10th year, the WYAAP Summer Camp will be held from May 31 – June 4, 2015 at Subic Park Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales, Philippines.
The WYAAP Summer Camp is 5-day program involving a range of activities specially designed to train young leaders from around Asia Pacific in the discourse of human dignity. Campers can expect lively discussions, team building activities, and fun games and adventures by the beach, while at the same time learning and improving their leadership and social skills.
Aside from these, campers also have the chance to meet fellow young leaders in the Asia Pacific region. In the past, the WYAAP Summer Camp has been attended by youth from Cambodia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.
“What I liked best about the camp was the atmosphere. I felt like I belonged and was respected…and I cherished each day in camp knowing I’d be surrounded by great people,” shared Rica Ilagan, a Summer Camper from 2015.
Graduates of this program are given the opportunity and the priority to attend other World Youth Alliance events around the world, including being a representative of the organization to the United Nations.
Applications are open to the Asia Pacific region and will be accepted until Friday, April 1, 2016. For more information about the Summer Camp, visit www.wya.net/apsummercamp or email wyaap.summercamp@gmail.com.
