7. I was wearing shorts and a spaghetti top.
“I was in our neighbourhood walking home. It was raining when an L300 suddenly slowed down beside me. May lumabas na ulo, then he said: ‘Hi, sexy! Miss, sakay ka na oh.’ Insert disgusting pervert face here. I continued walking since it was raining and ignored them. Nag-forward yung car for awhile, then I saw it literally stop. I was so scared that they were going to go down.”

6. I think (I was wearing) shorts and a sweater.
“I was standing outside a bar my friends and I were going to meet up in when a pick-up truck full of men (around five or six) stopped in front and tried to get my attention. ‘Miss, smile naman!’ ‘Miss, ang ganda mo!’ ‘Miss, gusto mo naman eh. Ikli-ikli ng shorts mo.’ ‘Miss ang sarap mo siguro.’ All of them were laughing and cheering each other on, and I continued to ignore them until they started getting really aggressive. ‘Miss, pansinin mo naman kami. Gusto mo naman eh. Bababa kami sige.’ I waited inside instead.”

4. I was wearing my uniform sa company.
“I was wearing my uniform sa company when this happened. Kakagaling ko lang kasi sa trabaho. I was waiting for a taxi during that time, then may mga boys na paulit ulit sinasabi yung, ‘Miss! Miss!’ I didn’t know na ako kasi tinatawag nila, so hindi ko naman pinapansin. Nung I looked at them na, bigla silang naghiyawan, then one of them said, ‘Baby, pa-kiss naman!’ Then sabi nung isa, ‘Kagat-labi ka nga, ate!’ Sobrang kadiri talaga. Buti nalang may taxi na huminto na.”

3. Naka school uniform ako.
“Kakababa ko lang nung jeep sa tapat nung school. Kumawit yung palda ko sa upuan habang bumababa ako, kaya medyo tumaas skirt ko and revealed a bit of my skin above the knee. Naka school uniform ako, tapos may bata na kasama barkada niya. No joke, they looked like they were third graders. Sabi nung bata, ‘Ate! Taas mo pa nga palda mo!’ Nakakabwisit na nakakadiri.”

2. I was in a tank top and shorts.
“My most traumatic cat-call experience happened in 2012 during a family vacation at a resort in Palawan. I was in a tank top and shorts since we were at the beach. After eating, I went to the place where everyone washes their hands. On the way there, a group of men were looking at me lang, then one said, ‘Hinog pa to ah!’ Some of them laughed, then another man said, ‘Miss, busy ka tonight?’ I walked so fast back to my family. I didn’t even get to wash my hands na. Did I mention I was just 10 years old when this happened?”

1. I was wearing a sweater and a jacket on that day.
“This happened just last week. I was outside of the grocery store, waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up. May kotse na huminto sa harap ko, tapos binaba nila yung bintana. Mga lima ata silang lalaki sa kotse na yun. Sabi nung isa, ‘Sexy, magkano ka?’ I shook my head and did a hand signal to ward them off. Akala ko naman kasi nagkamali lang sila, pero pinush parin talaga nila. Sabi nung isa nilang kasama, ‘Sus! Lahat may presyo. Sakay na!’ I felt so mad and scared during the time. I was literally shaking. The rest of the boys in the car were just laughing and cheering them on. When they still were going on at it, I went back inside the grocery store and called my boyfriend while I was crying. I was wearing a sweater and a jacket on that day.”
