The skies are overcast and the sunshine is replaced by rain. While some of us may be happy that the air is colder, there are those that miss the sun’s rays and the chance to go to the beach. If you’re happy with the rainy weather, you might reconsider after watching this short video.
The short video, posted by All About Nature on Facebook, shows the beauty of the Philippines as foreigners explore the different islands in the country.
According to the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) It’s More Fun in the Philippines campaign, “Big. Small. Sandy. Sunny. Relaxing. Exotic. Beautiful. Our little clutch of islands make for one long stretch of beach – more than 15,500 kilometers. Here, no one is more than two hours away from a beach-side lounge chair — which explains why everybody knows how to smile and have fun!”
In line with the campaign, DOT launched Visit the Philippines Again 2016 to encourage visitors to return. In March 2016, the country welcomed 510,270 visitors, an 11.86% increase compared to the 456,163 arrivals in March 2015. And it looks like it’s going to rise after the department transformed the Waterloo Station in London into a sensory experience of the many tourist attractions in the Philippines.
