Think Saw is over? Think again.
A new installment of the horror franchise is set to hit screens this year and the first trailer has already been released.

Entitled Spiral, the film is described as: Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran, brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks and his rookie partner take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly trapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
The film stars Chris Rock (who is also the executive producer), Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, and Marisol Nichols. It is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.
This is the ninth film in the Saw franchise and is one of the highest-grossing horror film franchises of all time. The franchise primarily revolves around the Jigsaw Killer, who traps victims in situations that he calls “tests” or “games” to test their will to live through physical or psychological torture. He believes that if they survive, they will be “rehabilitated.”
Spiral will premiere on May 15, 2020.
