The trailer of the latest Christopher Nolan (director of The Dark Knight franchise and Inception) film is out! Dunkirk, which is the title of the epic war film, follows after the real-life events of the battle at Dunkirk, France during the World War II.
The film’s synopsis explains: “Allied soldiers from Britain, Belgium, Canada, and France are surrounded by the German Army on the beaches of Dunkirk and evacuated in Operation Dynamo between 26 May and 4 June 1940, during the early stages of the Second World War.”
The film stars Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Jack Lowden, and Fionn Whitehead, but let’s not forget One Direction’s very own star, Harry Styles, who will be appearing in this film as his big Hollywood debut. Quite fancy for a first film!
