Jurassic Park is one of the world’s highest grossing movie franchises of all time, giving us a look at how dinosaurs behaved across four films from 1993 to 2015. A sequel, called Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, is coming out in 2018 and the first trailer was just released!
Check it out below:
In the new clip, we see Chris Pratt as Owen Grady leading a team to save dinosaurs as a volcano is about to erupt on their home island.
Colin Trevorrow, who directed 2015’s Jurassic World and will produce next year’s sequel, revealed in the Sitges Film Festival in Spain, “The dinosaurs will be a parable of the treatment animals receive today: the abuse, medical experimentation, pets, having wild animals in zoos like prisons, the use the military has made of them, animals as weapons.”
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will star Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum (who starred in the original film and its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park), Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, and Justice Smith.
The film will premiere on June 22, 2018.
