WATCH: Keiko Necesario’s Cover of ‘Burnout’ is So Good It’ll Wreck You

So since 3D (Dumas, Dancel, Danao) performed the Sugarfree song ‘Burnout’ and then it was taken on by recently released indie film I’m Drunk, I Love You (which is a great movie, by the way), Burnout has suddenly become the Filipino national anthem for the broken hearted. Especially for those who’ve stubbornly waited around for someone so much longer than they should have. (Taas ang kamay ng mga guilty.)

Bottomline: it is a damn good song.

And just when you think it isn’t possible to go crazy for a song even more, another talented local artist does her own treatment to the song and you realize, yeah–it’s possible. That’s what happened here, when artist Keiko Necesario posted her cover of Burnout online on her YoutTube channel. It’s futile to just talk about this, though, so I’ll just leave the video here so you can see for yourself.
