Remember that weird time when To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star and everyone’s former Internet boyfriend, Noah Centineo, randomly bleached his beard? Yup, who could forget?
The horror.
Well, the actor went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on January 23 to discuss what went through his head at the time of “The Bleaching Incident.” To our surprise, even Noah had no idea why he did it.
“I was sitting at a hair salon, and I saw a [hairstylist] that had blond hair, and I thought, ‘I should do that with my beard,'” he told Jimmy, adding that he chose not to bleach his brown locks because he had been working on a project at the time. “I was like, ‘I shouldn’t do the hair.’ I wanted to buzz the hair, but I couldn’t buzz the hair because, you know, we were working on something. So I went, ‘Well, what can I do? I can definitely bleach the beard.’ Worst comes to worst, I just shave it off and it’s not there anymore. It was a catastrophe, clearly.”
You can say that again, Noah.
