We can’t help but get super emotional while watching Alonzo, the young son of actress Dimples Romana, breaking down in tears as she and her husband surprised their kids with her return home after two weeks of lock-in taping.
The video of him crying in her arms was captured and published on Dimples’ Instagram page. “I love you, Mom,” he can be heard saying.

The video is also a short snippet of what really happened at the time Dimples came back home to her family, which can be watched on Boyet Ahmee’s YouTube vlog. In it, daughter Callie also teared up while hugging her mom while Boyet said to the camera, “Naiiyak ako nandito na siya (I am tearing up [because] she is here already).”
“Aba talagang namiss niyo ko ha (Wow, you really missed me),” Dimples teased after seeing their reactions.
On her Instagram post, Dimples talked about the struggle of being away from her children due to work and also raised awareness to all the overseas Filipino workers who experience this all the time.
“Ang hirap (It’s tough) to be away from them but I also feel so blessed to be working with the cast and crew of #OhMyDad. With every blessing, I say THANK YOU LORD. Pero pag ganito ang salubong sayo ng mga anak mo sa bawat pag uwi mo mula trabaho, para bang wala na akong mahiling pa (But if this is how my children greet me every time I come home from work, it’s like I would not ask for anything more),” she said.
“Just want to give a special salute and shoutout to all my dear OFWs who are constantly away from their families. You are all heroes,” she added.
