Who would have ever imagined Coldplay and The Chainsmokers together, collaborating on a song? Well, certainly not me. I could never have imagined the distinct sounds of the two sets of artists coming together…and yet here we are.
The two just released a song collaboration titled Something Just Like This, and it sounds…very The Chainsmokers. With Chris Martin’s vocals on it. I leave it up to you to judge whether you think that’s a good or bad thing, but personally, I am not a fan of the song. Is it just me or do each new The Chainsmokers’ track just sound like the last?

Coldplay and The Chainsmokers debuted the song on the Brit Awards on Feb. 22nd, which was the same day the song’s lyric video was released. Watch the performance here:
