Durian is notorious for its smell, with some people saying “it smells like hell but tastes like heaven.” According to many, it’s the smelliest fruit in the world. But it’s one of the popular fruits in the Philippines, especially Davao.
In Buzzfeed Live, host Kenneth Habersberger invites audience members to try the fruit. Many noticed the smell right away, but their reaction changed when they tried it. One girl said, “The first taste was awful, the second is not so bad.” But one member could not stomach it and spit on Habersberger’s hand.
