Vico Sotto and Pasig City are providing laptops for public school teachers

In a tweet dated September 26, 2020, Vico Sotto, current mayor of Pasig City, tweeted two photos of boxes upon boxes of laptops that he is giving out to public school teachers. The second photo showcases people using these laptops (with masks, of course, and safely social distancing).

This is just one of the many projects that the mayor has been carrying out in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic, many school teachers and educators have had to turn to online learning. However, the resources aren’t always readily available. In an effort to help out, the Pasig City government has aided teachers in their new normal in order to reach their students and be able to effectively conduct classes.

Check out the tweet below:

We applaud Mayor Vico Sotto and the rest of the Pasig City government for doing their best for educators everywhere! The pandemic has surely made things a little more complicated, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
