Teen beauty queen Vanessa Mae Walters has taken to Instagram to react to the news that she has been removed from her Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 title by the Miss World Philippines Organization.
Vanessa, who won the crown in last month’s Miss World Philippines 2019 pageant, was accused of “misrepresentation of her credentials,” “unprofessional behavior,” and “indecency.” According to a public statement made by National Director Arnold L. Vegafria, Vanessa has skipped official events, walked out on meetings, refused to sign the contract with the organization, and publicly shared photos of her nude and using alcohol and tobacco.
It was also revealed that Vanessa was only 16 years old which doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement for the Miss World pageant.
Although Vanessa has not publicly spoken about the issue, she did repost reactions and statements made by fans and friends on Instagram stories. These included a statement of support made by former beauty pageant contestant Roxanne Acosta and a “Deadma Walk” photo from a fan.
The Miss World Philippines Organization has already named contestant Mary Daena Zaide Resurreccion as the new Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 following Vanessa’s dethronement.
