Genius is a person who displays exceptional intellectual ability, creative productivity, universality in genres or originality — typically to a degree that is associated with the achievement of new advances in domain of knowledge.

Each block of first year students in UP Manila will send one or two teams of two for the quiz bee with a chance to win 5,000 pesos cash and more than 5,000 pesos worth of surprise items to a total of more than 10,000 pesos worth of prizes for both the winning team and their block.

Academic Excellence is one of the principles of Tau Omega Mu.

In line with this, the fraternity will host the Mindbreakers to showcase and highlight freshmen’s knowledge in the UPM’s diverse curricula and empower them through the belief that everyone has the capacity to unleash their full potential as they will be part of our journey towards personal growth as we enjoy a time of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The oldest surviving co-ed fraternity in the Philippines, The Most Distinguished TAU OMEGA MU Fraternity and Its Ladies’ Circle was founded in 1972 at the University of the Philippines Manila, with chapters in UP Diliman, UP Tacloban, and more than 40 other leading universities and colleges all over the country. This year, our beloved fraternity will celebrate its 47th year as an advocate of personal development of the student body.
