The UP Chemical Society is holding the Philippine National Chemistry Olympiad 2019 – National Capital Region Level (PNCO – NCR 2019) on November 24, 2018 at the College of Science Administration Building Auditorium, University of the Philippines Diliman.
Every year, different regions across the country simultaneously hold the eliminations for the Philippine National Chemistry Olympiad.
The PNCO – NCR 2019 brings together skilled and gifted high school students to compete in a chemistry quiz bee with the aim of promoting academic excellence in the field and of developing an interest in chemistry as an undergraduate program and career path.
Winners of this competition will compete at the national level where they will battle it out with other high school chemistry wizards for the chance to represent the Philippines at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Paris in July 2019.
