Starbucks is known to have some of the prettiest, most creative, and even quirkiest cafes, especially in Japan.
As someone who loves traveling around the Land of the Rising Sun, my favorite is probably the one located in Kyoto’s historic Ninenzaka district. The historic-looking cafe transformed a 100-year-old traditional townhouse into a coffee shop and opened in 2017. It is one that offers to seat on its tatami floors.
Here’s a quick look inside.
Now, Starbucks opened a cafe recently that is new normal ready.
This one is located in the Circles Ginza building. It offers a shared office and coworking space.
When we say that it’s new normal ready, it is because it is built with solo working spaces in the form of individual booths. Therefore, it is perfect in helping ensure social distancing even when in a public cafe and having your frappucino fix.
This cafe is in collaboration with Think Lab.
Think Lab manages these single-person private booths. Use of booth costs ¥300 (PHP 140) per 15 minutes.
If you need a bigger space, the cafe also has a Smart Lounge for conferences and group meetings.
はたらく人のための「夢中になれる場所」がコンセプトの『CIRCLES 銀座店』がオープン!
一人で集中して考えたり 、人とつながり、アイデアを共有できる新たな空間が広がります。
