a series of unfortunate events season two

One of the TV shows we’re looking out for is the second season of A Series of Unfortunate Events, which Netflix adapted earlier last year. The story is based on the series of 13 novels by Lemony Snicket of the same name and the film adaptation starring Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep in 2004. A new teaser for the show’s season two was just released and it looks promising!

Watch the trailer for season two of A Series of Unfortunate Events below:

A Series of Unfortunate Events follows the orphaned Baudelaire siblings, who are adopted by the evil Count Olaf. In the first season, Olaf, portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris, finds dastardly ways to inherit the children’s fortune. In the trailer above, we see the count not giving up on his goal, using different disguises and methods to get their money.

The first season was critically-acclaimed, with Rotten Tomatoes saying, “Enjoyably dark, A Series of Unfortunate Events matches the source material’s narrative as well as its tone, leaving viewers with a wonderfully weird, dry, gothic comedy.”

The second season will premiere on March 30, 2018 on Netflix.
