If you grew up in the ’90s or the ’00s, chances are, you were a fan of the GMA show Encantadia. Now we have great news because the original Sang’gres are returning for a movie and it’s coming out in February 2019!
Last January, it was announced that Sunshine Dizon, Karylle Yuzon, Diana Zubiri, and Iza Calzado were together in a meeting. Now, it can be announced that they filmed a movie and it will be streamed via iflix, where Encantadia is available.
Apart from acting, the four actresses took on executive producer roles on the film, which will be released under Sang’gre Productions. Dizon and Zubiri handle expenses while Yuzon and Calzado focus on marketing. The film, which remains untitled, is directed by Mark Reyes.
There’s also no word what the film will be about.
