Loyola Film Circle (LFC)’s biggest annual event is making its grand comeback after two long years. Under the Stars 2022 (UTS 2022) is a film screening and showcase that will be held in Zoom on July 8, 2022 from 7:00pm-8:30pm. The event has its history of celebrating film by the Loyola Schools students. UTS also celebrates other artistic endeavors by the LS community such as musical performances. For this year, the event is inspired by the spirit of celebration and film appreciation with the tagline Step Into The Limelight. Â
The event will showcase and celebrate the works and outputs of the different committees in LFC and their skills and talents in production. It will also feature special performances from Lagooon and one of the country’s well-loved bands, The Itchyworms.Â
UTS 22 is also in partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines (WWF-PH). A big part of the proceeds raised will be donated in support of women in the Rizal tuna fishing community in Occidental Mindoro Strait to help sustain their livelihoods and bring hope into their homes.Â
