You enter a warehouse as a pleasant barista welcomes you. He asks for you name and then checks the guest list to make sure you’re one of the attendees of the event. It turns out you are, he motions you to go walk up the stairs neatly tucked on the corner of the entrance.
As you make your way to the second floor from the stairwell, you’re handed a cocktail as you hear the soft thump of music playing behind closed doors. You make your way through the doors and gaze upon a sea of people wearing black that are either socializing or drawing a naked model who is in the middle of a circular crowd as eclectic electronic are echoing through the wide space the event is taking place in.

This was a glimpse of The Life Drawing Setup that happened last September 17 and it will be back again on November 19, Saturday from 7-11PM at Warehouse Eight — a co-working space in the artists’ compound of La Fuerza along Chino Roces in Makati City.
