The HONORALBE OUTSTANDING PATRIOTIC EXEMPLARY AWARDS, or better known as the HOPE Awards started in 2009, it is a humble project implemented in the Manila Police District together with the BASILIO Family Foundation and that of JCI MANILA (known as the Manila Jaycees) motivated by the gallant effort and the ultimate sacrifice made by two of Manila’s Finest young officers who were gunned down while responding to the brutal murder of a fellow Manila Jaycee member.
It is a search for police officers who are role models for both the police force and the general public. In 2010, JCI Manila started the HOPE Awards in the Manila Police District. Due to the overwhelming warm welcome of the Police, it was taken on an National Capital Region level in 2011. Also on that year, the HOPE Awards entered the National Bureau of Investigation.
The PNP NCRPO will vie for the following award categories:
Commissioned Officer of the Year – Operations
Commissioned Officer of the Year – Administrative
Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year – Operations
Investigative Officer of the Year
Non-Uniformed Personnel of the Year
5 deserving police officers will be awaded for this year. A total of P250,000 and P375,000 in Life Plans, care of St.Peter Life Plans.
