It was a wonderful night with the stars as your one-stop shop for everything celebrity-owned officially launched alisters.com.ph to the press and public through The A-List Playlist: A Night of Music with the Stars last November 23 at Custom Thread Cafe
The event kicked off with a welcome from our present celebrity vendors like actress Meryll Soriano for Community and model and TV host Jacq Yu for French Dolls, who talked about their business and what it’s like to be part of A-Listers. Our very own Benito Vergara and Angelique Uy were also present, who shared the story of A-Listers, and Custom Thread owner Eric Sy, who spoke about their brand.
The merriment continued with activities prepared for guests before the music show happened. There were Custom Thread tours and food-tasting, live mural painting by WeeWillDoodle, beer pong, overflowing drinks from Chang beer, Taiwan beer and Destileria Limtuaco, and yummy snacks from Nacho Bimby. The place was full of energy and excitement, evident with the cheer, conversations, and smiles around.
Finally, the clock struck eight and the gig opened with Never the Strangers on the stage. The rest of the night was a full-on musical bliss. Everyone rocked and sang along to the songs of IV of Spades, Simpatiko, Ben&Ben, Callalily, Over October and Nyctinasty.
A-Listers is the first online marketplace for celebrity-owned brands in the Philippines. The website curates anything and everything our Pinoy celebpreneurs are passionate about and would like to share with their fans and followers.
The A-List merchandise mix offers a bevy of lifestyle choices, from fashion finds—workout gear, swimsuits, men’s apparel, sleepwear, and even costume jewelry, to beauty treats—body oils, scrubs, and serums, skincare, and scents and fragrances. Books authored by the celebrities themselves—from Maine Mendoza’s tell-all story to stardom, to Solenn Heussaff’s eating and fitness guide.
The site’s growing list of A-Listers includes Drew Arellano for Vamos, Elmo Magalona for FrancisM Clothing Co, Paolo Paraiso for Tondo x Pomade, and Andy Smith for Joaquin Menswear, each with brands that cater to the lifestyle needs of men.
Actresses, beauty queens, and models also joined: Maggie Wilson for Wanderlust, Sam Pinto for Sirena, Meryll Soriano for Community Store, Chloe Dauden for Solace, Tessa Nieto-Villalon for The Florence Fling Fashion, Jacq Yu for French Dolls, Vanna Garcia and Maoui David for Smell Chic, Gladys Reyes for Gladys Reyes Skincare, Ara Mina for Ara’s Secret, and Diana Zubiri for Be Amaz1ng.
Musicians who’ve ventured into businesses were also part of the event such as Louie Poco for Gouache and Sarah Marco for Archieology, as well as the growing roster of local indie musicians like The Ransom Collective and Never the Strangers, and OPM icons like Callalily and Itchyworms for Fundr, as well as Franco for Franco merchandise.
